This is a .22 caliber adapter kit used to convert a 8mm K98k rifle to be able to
fire a 5.56mm (.22 cal) round. This was made by Erma Erfurt and dated 1937.
It is complete down to the tool (which is normally missing). I would rate the
condition at Exc-. There is a unit marking on both the bolt and the box.
The box number is 2./R.R.15.10. The bolt number is 2./R.R.15.8. Since the
numbers are so close, I would assume that parts got mixed during period use.
The set is mismatched. Here is a list of the parts and serial numbers.
