This is a .22 caliber adapter kit used to convert a 8mm K98k rifle to be able to

fire a 5.56mm (.22 cal) round.  This was made by Erma Erfurt and dated 1937. 

It is complete down to the tool (which is normally missing).  I would rate the

condition at Exc-.  There is a unit marking on both the bolt and the box. 

The box number is 2./R.R.15.10.  The bolt number is 2./R.R.15.8.  Since the

numbers are so close, I would assume that parts got mixed during period use.

The set is mismatched.  Here is a list of the parts and serial numbers.
