This is an excellent condition Japanese Type 94 made in Showa 19.6 (June, 1944).

It has one matching numbered magazine.  Most of the high condition T-94s that are

found were made in 1944 because they were still making some nicely blued gun then and

there wasn't much time left in the war.  By 1945, the quality had dropped and the finishes

were not typically as good as the earlier finishes.  Even in 1944, you can find T-94s with

thin finishes.  This example is one of the better I have seen and I would keep it for my

collection except that the 19 date example I have in my collection has two matching

numbered magazines. $750
