A very rare zero series cyq with a FN slide.  These examples were very rare until

the Russian captured P.38s were imported.  Still, they are a bit tough to find and near

impossible in original condition.  This pistol has some issues and is priced accordingly.

First, the frame is cracked on both sides from the trigger axle pin downward.  The frame

appears to have had some rework as the finish does not look original to me and the grip

strap appears to have been smoothed some.  That is just my take and I could be wrong

on the refinishing.  The hammer appears to have had some refinishing and the firing pin

looks brand new.  That is an inconsistency with an original pistol.  Also, the right frame

rail is slightly skewed to the left and makes it a bit difficult to assemble and disassemble.
