P.38, byf44, all phosphate #6960d.  This would have been a dual tone but for some

reason a few P.38s were made with phosphate barrels.  This finish is difficult to find,

especially, on the earlier serial numbers.  It is all matching, has correct grips and a

magazine with a late war ribbed follower.  Also, this example does not have the initial

inspection stamp on the right side of the slide.  That is rare!!  The finish has been

compromised some but that is reflected in the price.  $925 + shipping. (SOLD)
