P.38, early byf44 4874r.  The transition from byf43 to byf44 occurred in the

"0" block so this pistol would have been made in about March of 1944.  Nice

example with the slightly later black plastic grips.  Some unusual blue wear as

shown but the pistol looks much better in the hand than in the pictures due to

the bright light necessary to take good pictures.  Some thinning of the grip strap.

Correct E/WaA135 mag.  This pistol belongs to a friend and well known collector
