German WWII era 6x30 binoculars.  The maker was Emil Busch AG, Optische Industrie,

Rathenow (secret code cxn), a premier optics maker.  The optics are clear.  The right lens

has a range finder on it.  The carrying case is made of bakelite.  Bakelite cases are scarce but

not as difficult to find as bakelite binoculars.  The case was made by  a company with a secret

code of ehe.  According to Darrin Weaver's book "Kunststoffe", the maker was H. Rommler

Aktiengesellschaft, Spremberg Nd.-Lausitz [HRS/32].  This example has the leather lens cover

and both straps.  The lens cover has a maker logo which I can't read and a waffenamt of

WaA414, made in 1939.  Above the waffenamt is a name and appears to be Schenler or

possibly Schenter.
