This is an approximately .30 caliber purse pistol.  It measures 5" overall.

It is British proofed and has the inscription "Beal Oundle" on the left side

plate.  I think Beal was the maker and he was located in Oundle, England. 

With this pistol comes a letter from the previous owner attesting to it's

history.  The inscription was misread for the letter.  The letter is included

with the sale of this pistol.   $600 + shipping.
