At the Cotton Museum in Greenville Texas there is a large statue of Audie Murphy out front. Apparently when plans were being made for the statue, funds had to be raised to finance it. The sculptor who did the statue produced 100 miniature bronze statues identical to what the large one would eventually looked like. They were sold for enough profit to pay for the large one. Here is example #19 of 100. Notice the detail in the machine gun belt, cartridges on the left side and an empty belt on the right. The statue is 15" tall including the walnut base.
