byf44 P.38 #2040.  This is the first of the second letter block run and would have been made in about December, 1944.  Nice overall condition rating 94%-95%.  Mag is a jvd with the jvd marking only on the left side.  Correct late Mauser black plastic grips.  It has an E/135 stamped sear bar.  That may be an early part that worked it's way into production or could, possibly, be an armorer's replacement part.
