Tokarev Type 54 pistol made in China by the Mukden Arsenal (66).  This is chambered in

7.62mm x 25mm.  This pistol was made in 1981 (add 53 to the first two digits of the serial

number).  It was never import marked.  Also, the Tokarevs that were imported were required

by the BATFE to have an added safety to meet import requirements.  This pistol never received

the modification.  I have heard that a few pistols were accidentally shipped by the importer

before the BATFE ruling came in.  Two matching mags.  A lot of collectors see the "66" on the

left side of the frame and assume it was made in 1966 during the Viet Nam era.  That is incorrect. 

It came with the holster, cleaning rod and lanyard.  This is the only example of this pistol I have

ever had.  I got the above info from the Internet so I hope it's correct.
