A Browning Model 1922 Holster.  Rather scarce and in great condition. I have 2 of these holsters and the pistol fits quite snug in both.  I suspect it was either made to minimum dimensions or some shrinkage has occurred.  Maker marked dtv (C. Otto Gehrckens) with a 4 below that.  WaA279 stamped, also.  There is a small repair just below the closure stud hole on the closure strap.  It is expertly done and, I would guess, a factory or field armory repair.  SOLD
