This is a Colt Model 1911 NRA.  These guns were ordered through the NRA and examples from the regular military production were pulled out, stamped with the NRA and shipped to the buyer.  They were made by both Springfield and Colt.  The Colt examples are the scarcer of the two.  Minty examples of this gun are rarely seen.  This example was made in 1915.
