A M35 Field Police helmet in great condition.  These were used by police units fighting in the war and also used by the SS-Polizei-Division.  Chin strap dated 1938.  Notice in the picture of the eagle decal that a small piece of the decal is in the lower right hand of the picture.  It has been suggested by several that have examined this helmet that the damage to the decal was done during manufacture and the decal was still wet when it was scraped, thus a small piece stuck to the helmet.
