Walther made P.38 produced near the end of 1944.  This example has a barrel that was made in Czechoslovakia and has the code of "fnh" stamped on it.  

In 1945, some of the "A" block Walthers had a capital "A" for the serial number letter suffix on the frame.  Those are considered a variation by a lot of collectors.  This example also has a capital letter for the frame serial number letter suffix.

Does that mean that this is a variation, also?
