I consider this the ultimate M3 fighting knife set.  The blade dated examples were the first to be made and are rare.  Case was a premier knife maker and my personal favorite.  The early M3 fighting knives were issued in leather M6 scabbards.  The leather didn't hold up well so they were soon replaced by M8 fiber scabbards.  This M3 example does not have a flaming bomb on the pommel.
