This is a rework of some type.  I have no idea who did it but it appears to possibly

be period.  The crossguard is made of cast iron and the blade and been rather

roughly ground.  There are no identifying marks or serial number on the pommel.

The scabbard has the very late war type with a piece of heavy wire brazed to the

side of the throat instead of having a formed sheet metal piece attached.
