This is a Swedish HP P.38 type of holster. There are a number of variations
of this holster. This variation has the maker name stamped on the back.
There is another variation that has the maker name and a date of 1940.
There is some speculation that, since there was an undelivered contract of
Swedish HP pistols and since there are no Swedish markings of any kind on
some examples (like this one), a number of holsters that were intended for Sweden were never delivered and diverted for sale to buyers of the early German
HPs. If that is the case, it is possible that this is one of those examples.
