cyq, 8378l (L). This pistol was made in February, 1944. You can tell the quality
had really started to slip. There are 3 significant "pocks" in the surface of the slide.
Two on the right side and one on the left. When the slide was initially inspected, it
looks like the inspector stamped the "E/88" partially on top of a pock and then
restamped it above the pock. The pock on the left side is just below the "7" in the
serial number. The barrel has an interesting spiral pattern from the machining. The
locking block is blued as with most Spreewerks. The locking block actuator pin is
darkened but the gun is totally original and has definitely not been reworked in any way.
