SG84/98 (K98k) bayonet made by Carl Eickhorn (cof code).  This example was apparently made right at the start of 1941 because of the serial number.  The date on the scabbard is 1941.  Since it is matching and the date on the bayonet is 40, they were apparently using a blade that was left over from the 1940 production.  Sadly, the exposed metal parts are heavily rusted but I kept it because of the unusual double date.
