P.38 holster made by Gustav Genshow & Co. AG, Abteilug Lederwaren-Fabrik
Alstadt-Hachenburg, Westerwald, also known as GECO.  This holster has the belt

loops and the pull up strap attached with rivets.  A lot of collectors, on seeing this,

thinks that the holster has been repaired.  That is not the case.  It was originally made

with the rivets.  As far as I know, this is the only maker who did it this way and 1942

was the only year that it was done.
