
This is a field conversion of a P.08 holster to a P.38 break-away. I am sure they had equipment repair
units in the field and I suspect that they were the ones that did this. Notice in the close-up of the
top of the mag pouch how a piece was spliced on. Very well done. I have seen a couple of other examples
but none near as nice as this one. The waffenamt was scratched out on the back at some time.
