This is a very late grooved grip T-26.  Part of the rarity of this gun is the fact that the trigger guard is also grooved instead of being checkered as most were.  As you can see, the gun is in beautiful condition.  The other interesting thing about this piece is that it is the grooved grip T-26 shown in the color plates in the front of Derby's Hand Cannon's of Imperial Japan book.
