This is an example of a rifle made by Steyr in Austria that was part of a 1934 Columbian contract that
was not completed. Hermann Goering made a deal with Steyr to complete these rifles for use by the Luftwaffe.
There are an incredible number of markings on these rifles and they are fairly rare as only about 25,000
were made.
The typical collector representation for this rifle is 29(o).
