This is very late 1938 production having no "S" in the code and is 2869 serial numbers later than the highest known serial number listed in "Backbone of The Wehrmacht". Pre 1942 rifles are generally fully marked (waffenamts & serial numbers) and examples are very difficult to find that are original and fully matching. This is an unmessed with, matching rifle. Blue is VG+ and stock is excellent-, in my opinion. |
