dou45 serial # 141.  This is listed as the lowest serial number reported in Richard Law's "Backbone of the Wehrmacht".  Laminated stock with very light colored phenolic resin, almost invisible.  Very few parts numbered.  Rear sight inspected by Mauser (E/655).  Barrel bands held on with screws and no provision for a cleaning rod but does have the standard bolt take down disk in the stock (Semi-Kreigsmodel).  The sling is the same as on the resin stock K.43.  Someone suggested it was a strap made for some other purpose.  Possibly so, but I got examples of it on two different rifles.  Minor stock repair in a couple of places.
